The Villa Albrizzi is a spectacular property, which has belonged to the family for several generations. It is cherished as a family home, and has been the centerpiece of a large agricultural estate still in operation today. The villa’s origins date to the 16th century, and there have been several major remodelings since that time. It is situated in an 8-acre park constructed in the 19th century and similar to the romantic gardens built in Great Britain at that time. Archeological finds from Roman times, found in the park, are displayed in the villa.

The furnishings and decorations in Villa Albrizzi are fitting for its history and grandeur, and in keeping with the style of a 19th century villa. The villa has interesting architectural features in ceramic tile and wood. The floors are either the typical Venetian marble terrazzo or wood. During the summer months, comfortable furniture and a dining table are set up under the covered portico, which runs the length of the villa and faces a large courtyard. There is air conditioning in the master and single bedrooms, and fans in all other rooms. The villa has satellite TV and WiFi Internet access.

The grounds around the estate are unique. Next to the swimming pool are a bathhouse and ample chairs and tables for relaxing and dining. Most of the vegetables served in the summer come from the estate’s own extensive vegetable garden and orchard. The park has wonderful paths for walking, play areas for children, and statuary.

The villa is on the edge of the town of Este, once a Roman stronghold that now holds a music festival in the summer. It is an excellent location for touring Venice, which can be reached by train or bus. The other sights of the area within easy reach are the historic cities of Padua, Vicenza, Ferrara, and Verona. Many of the famous villas designed by Palladio are in easy reach. There are also three 18-hole golf courses in the vicinity of Villa Albrizzi.

The main villa can hold up to 15 people. There is a separate building on the grounds with air conditioning that has a newly renovated apartment for up to six people called "La Barchessa." The building used to be the stables and granary of the estate. Using both the main villa and La Barchessa, the total number of guests at Villa Albrizzi cannot exceed 20.

The villa is available for rent from mid-May to mid-September. Villa Albrizzi is a luxury rental with full-time staff. Weekly rental prices vary depending on the size of the group, with a range of $10,875 for up to 10 people with two full-time staff; $12,035 for 11-15 people with three full-time staff; and $15,950 for 20 people with four full-time staff. Rentals must be for a minimum of one week, but can be of any length beyond a week (price pro-rated by the day).
