Solaria is aptly named for its sun-drenched rooms and garden. This luminous modern villa, built in a traditional Tuscan style, occupies a hillside that boasts views of the quintessential Tuscan countryside filled with olive trees, ordered grapevines, and unfolding hills. A private road leads to the peaceful property.

Solaria blends farmhouse charm with refined furnishings, and is situated to take full advantage of the views. Windows and French doors allow light to flood into the living/dining spaces. A newly renovated kitchen exits into the garden. All the rooms are spacious yet inviting, with wood parquet and glazed terra cotta flooring. A wrap-around terrace offers romantic sunset gazing, and looks toward Siena and San Gimignano. The terrace overlooks the swimming pool area and is perfect for al fresco dining.

A few steps from the living room lead to a hallway which is the gateway to the main sleeping area. There are two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, along with three bathrooms (two with showers, one with a bathtub). An upper level has a suite with a small sitting room, a double bedroom and bathroom, along with a private terrace. All the bedrooms are generously-sized and have ceiling fans. There is plenty of wardrobe space to unpack and feel at home.

The villa is outfitted with a telephone, satellite TV, stereo, WIFI Internet access, washing machine, baby crib, dishwasher and refrigerator with freezer. There is also a covered parking area. Maid service is available on request.

The carefully tended grounds are private and tranquil. A long swimming pool and wide patio are perfect for lounging and relaxing. The delightful garden offers fruit trees, shady spots, and a barbecue grill.

Solaria has additional space which can be rented to the same group if more bedrooms are needed. Two double bedrooms and two bathrooms on a lower floor allow the villa to accommodate 14 people.

Solaria enjoys a secluded setting but is only 7 miles from Siena and Castellina in Chianti. The nearby village of Vagliagli is just over a mile away and offers basic services and a restaurant. This location in the heart of Chianti is fantastic for enjoying the most charming towns of Tuscany.
