Proneta is a farmhouse consisting of four separate apartments, and it is located on a large and active wine estate in the center of the Chianti Classico wine district. The estate is situated in a dominating position overlooking vineyards, woodlands, and the typical Tuscan panorama dotted with farmhouses and small hamlets in the distance. The estate includes two farmhouses with a total of eight apartments, two swimming pools (one reserved for each farmhouse), a tennis court, a soccer field, and ample opportunities for hiking. Proneta is within walking distance from the other farmhouse, La Cappella, which can be reached via an internal estate road.

There is a large, furnished patio in front of the Proneta farmhouse, and there is a solarium terrace with outdoor furniture near the pool that provides spectacular views of the countryside. The swimming pool reserved for Proneta guests is 21 x 42 feet.

The Proneta apartments are accessed through glass doors. Proneta 1 and 4 are located on the first floor, and Proneta 2 and 3 are on the second floor. Each apartment has a well-equipped kitchen that includes a gas range, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher. One of the bathrooms in each apartment has a washing machine. Parking is available near the farmhouse. All apartments are comfortably furnished with Tuscan wood furniture.

The estate offers its own Chianti Classico wines, vinsanto and extra virgin olive oil for sale. Baby cots are available and there are independent barbecues for the apartments. Maid service and a cook can be provided on request. There is free WiFi service available in and around the estate office, but guests need to bring their own laptops/phones.

The estate is located about 4 miles from both San Donato in Poggio and Poggibonsi. Castellina in Chianti, San Gimignano, Siena and Florence are all easily reachable because the highway that runs between Florence and Siena is only a short drive from the property.
