La Fontanella is a beautiful stone farmhouse located in a panoramic position surrounded by ample private grounds and gardens. The house has a wonderful interior that maintains Tuscan traditions, with high wood-beamed ceilings, cotto floors, and whitewashed walls. The house is luminous and well furnished with typical Tuscan solid wood pieces.

There are several entrances to the farmhouse, including two into the living room. The spacious living room, with a fireplace and comfortable seating, is divided by an open brick arch. The large dining room and kitchen are also on the first floor. The kitchen is modern and complete with a large mixed range, oven, dishwasher, and fridge with freezer. A double room and a twin bedroom, each with doors onto the furnished terrace, and a complete bathroom are also on the first floor. Two more double bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, are on the second floor. Each double bed can be divided into twin beds upon request.

There is a private, heated swimming pool (20x46 feet) surrounded by beautiful lawns and gardens. The pool area is furnished and has a spacious solarium terrace.

The house is located just three miles from the shops and restaurants of Radda in Chianti. The heart of the Chianti Classico wine production area is less than four miles away in Castellina in Chianti. Siena is fifteen miles away, and Florence about thirty-seven.

The house is equipped with satellite TV, stereo with CD player, washing machine, baby cot, telephone, portable fans, and a barbeque. Central heating is payable on consumption. A maid is available upon request.
