The Casamonti apartments are located in a wing of a splendid 15th century Chianti Classico farmhouse. The property is surrounded by oak trees, cypresses, vineyards and olive groves. The estate produces extra-virgin olive oil, honey and eggs; there is a large vegetable garden where produce can be purchased from the caretakers. The grounds are fenced in for privacy, and there is a bean-shaped swimming pool that is shared by the guests staying in the two apartments. There is also a furnished garden area with a large wooden table and open fireplace. The estate has spectacular countryside views extending from San Gimignano in the north to Siena in the south, and woodland walks are available. Both apartments are comfortably and attractively furnished in a typical Tuscan style.

The entrance to Casamonti Capre is from its private, furnished garden. The front door opens into the living/dining room with an open brick archway that separates the living area from the dining area and kitchen. The kitchen has a gas range, oven, and refrigerator. There is a flight of stairs that lead from the living room to the second floor, where the spacious double bedroom and bathroom facilities are located. There is a complete bathroom with a half bath and a slanted low ceiling, and a shower in a separate room off the bedroom. The bedroom has a small balcony. Casamonti Capre is about 700 square feet in size.

Casamonti Karen is on the second floor, and is reached by an external staircase that leads to a private covered veranda with furniture for relaxing and dining outdoors. The veranda has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. From the veranda, there is an entrance into the living/dining room, which has an open-hearth fireplace. The eat-in kitchen is located to the right of the dining area, and has a gas range, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer. There are three doors in the living room that open into the double bedroom, twin bedroom, and bathroom. The bathroom has two sinks and a bathtub with a shower attachment. Casamonti Karen is about 1000 square feet in size.

Maid service is available on request at an extra charge. The maid can do laundry for 5 Euros a machine load. There is a baby crib, high chair and a telephone is available in the estate office during normal working hours.

The property is ideally located for touring Tuscany. It is less than 1 mile from Castellina in Chianti, one of the major towns of the Chianti region, which has all facilities. Casamonti is also 12 miles from Siena, and 35 miles from Florence.
