Apartment Cacciatore is one of five apartments in a 19th century hunting villa once owned by a noble family from Todi. The villa is set in the Umbrian countryside, next to olive groves and a forest, and there are views of the green hills and an ancient convent.
The entire villa was restored in 2001 with a respect for the building’s historic origins. Apartment Cacciatore has spacious rooms with high wood-beamed ceilings, original terracotta floors, and traditional wooden entrance doors. The tasteful interior design mixes antiques and comfortable furniture, with lovely artwork throughout.
The living room, with a window facing the garden, has comfortable furniture, a couch with a sofa bed for one person, and an antique desk and cupboard. It adjoins the kitchen/dining area, with a stone fireplace and a sizeable space for food preparation. A door from the kitchen leads to the outside dining area. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, an ensuite bathroom, and two corner windows looking out over the pool and gardens. The twin bedroom has a small balcony facing olive trees and the garden. Across the hall from the twin bedroom is a bathroom with a bathtub and hand shower.
The large swimming pool is a short walk down a small hill below the house. Guests at the apartment share the pool with the residents of the other four apartments. There are beautiful views from the pool and ample hiking areas on the property and the surrounding countryside.
The apartment is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator/freezer, central heating, satellite TV, WiFi and a high speed Internet connection.
Apartment Cacciatore is located just a few miles from the medieval town of Todi. It is well situated for touring the towns of Umbria and Southern Tuscany.
